Vitals is looking for a Senior Product UX Designer who will be responsible for executing against full stack of design skills to drive User Centered Design process across both VitalsChoice and SmartShopper responsive web and native mobile. Translate user research and insights garnered into UX flow and wireframes using DLS to complete shippable designs.

In this position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Crafting artifacts (personas, UX flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, UI design and documentation) and executing finished shippable design work
  • Conducting usability testing for efficacy of the design work and refactoring as necessary (with Managerial support)
  • Partnering with the Development team on the execution of the design work
  • Converting research insights into actionable ideas with input from internal teams (Development, Product, Client teams)
  • Organizing, performing and synthesizing qualitative research (with Managerial support)
  • Maintaining the Vitals Design Language System (DLS)

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university
  • Formal design education (bootcamp, college, non-credit coursework)
  • 7-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge and practice of Visual Design (e.g., Compositional Balance, Typography, Data Visualization, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in UX (flows, wires, personas, journey mapping, etc.)
  • Experience in usability testing & synthesis
  • Knowledge in ethnographic research methodologies
  • Experience in modern design software (Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision, etc.)
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Strong foundational skills in both communication and presenting
  • Expected to manage delegated tasks autonomously with clear direction and be willing to proactively request feedback and coaching
  • Ability to work equally independently and collaboratively on a team
